Weddings at The Hospitium - York

The 14th century Hospitium is licensed to hold Wedding and Civil Partnership ceremonies and provides a peaceful, private and atmospheric venue.

The Hospitium is a two-story listed building set within the beautiful Museum Gardens near the centre of York, overlooked by the striking ruins of St Mary's Abbey - the perfect setting for your wedding photographs.

The spacious upper floor is ideal for wedding receptions while ground floor is ideal for your wedding ceremony or for welcoming guests with a drinks reception.

The Hospitium can seat up to 135 guests for your wedding breakfast and drinks/buffet receptions for up to 200 guests.
